Lauren's Here!

On Monday I went to Ben Gurion airport to meet Lauren! (Pictures) Her flight was an hour late, which gave me enough time to finish my welcome sign, get a balloon and of course, chocolate with pop rocks! (A favorite here.) I think it's fair to say that she was glad to see me, and after the hours of schelpping it took us to get to her dorm, I KNOW she was grateful for the help. After a bit of a balagan, we finally arrived at her dorm and there just happened to be people from her school checking in new students! We were relieved for a moment, only to find out that there was no elevator and we had to lug her 50 lb bags up manyy flights of stairs. UGH. After that we checked out her room and went food shopping. I had to head back to J'lem earlier than I wanted to, but I'll definitely go visit her sometime this weekend. It's great to have family here finally!

Today is our last day of class for the week, as we have a tiyul around Jerusalem tomorrow morning instead of class. It should be fun!
